Personal

 

Having completed 8 months working with a local solicitors firm, Angela commenced pupillage with Bank House in September 2000. Since joining chambers as a tenant in 2001 she has developed a wide interest in all areas of chambers practice.
In crime, Angela is a CPS Grade 2 Prosecutor and was recently appointed to the Attorney Generals panel of Counsel – Criminal List C. She has received instructions in a variety of miscellaneous prosecutions – Building Regulations, ASBO, Crack House Closure and VOSA.
In Family, Angela has a developing Family practice and is available for instructions in both Private and Public Law work. She has received instructions to undertake work for both Local Authority and Respondents.
In Civil, Angela is available to provide written advice and pleadings as well as advocacy.

R v Turner (2007/8) – Led defence junior. Defence counsel representing a man charged with money laundering. Trial listed 6 weeks.
Sierney v DPP [2006] EWHC 716 (Admin) – Case stated, Anti Social Behaviour Act.
R v Ali (2004) –Led prosecution junior. Defendant charged with murder.
