Criminal Law - primarily defence work on all levels. Grade 2 prosecutor.

Personal

 

During the last three years, Michael has been involved in defending a number of Custom and Excise prosecutions such as diversion frauds, confiscation orders, conspiracy to defraud the revenue and the fraudulent evasion of duty on alcohol and tobacco products. Michael has been the junior counsel to eminent Queens Counsel in both fraud and murder trials.

Michael has what his wife calls an unhealthy interest in speed and motor vehicles. In particular he races a vintage racing car at motor racing circuits across the country.
Michael is also a non-executive director of the Quicksilver project based at East Midlands Airport, which having designed and is now constructing a jet powered boat in order to reclaim the world water speed record in 2005.
